El Camino

Hi guys! Hope you are all having a good week since we are so close to finishing the semester! A movie that I recently watched was El Camino. This movie was based off the show Breaking Bad, which is a show I highly recommend if you have not watched it. At the end of the show Breaking Bad one of the main characters Jesse gets away and the movie is all about how he got freedom in the end. After watching this movie I don't think you really have to watch Breaking Bad to enjoy the movie because you can still understand the majority of the movie but there are some things that could be a little confusing if you have never watched the show but watched the movie. One of the confusing parts is when Jesse went to a Vacuum store and brought the guy a garbage bag of cash and started saying random words to him but during the show this is the person you go to if you want to change your identity.

In this film the camera angles were so impressive with there being so many good shots taken. One scene that stood out to me was when Jesse and Todd went to the middle of nowhere to get rid of a body. Jesse was captured by Todd then and during this scene Jesse had the opportunity to shoot and kill Todd. The camera shots showed all the emotion and tension that was going on during the scene acting as the audience was there in person watching it go down. I enjoyed this movie and it was exciting to see Jesse get away and create a new life for himself as he was one of my favorite characters in Breaking Bad.
